This series offers a way to declutter our homes and lives and live minimally following the Catholic way. It includes decluttering our homes and possessions, finding a balance with time and family and creating healthy long-lasting habits. Though you do not have to be Catholic to participate, our values and practices are based on Catholic theology and scripture.

Major Areas we will cover (not inclusive):

September 26:  Developing our value system, decluttering our cars, and making a self-evaluation of our common areas

October 10:   Common Areas, Spare Bedrooms

October 24:  Master bedroom, Bathroom, Clothes

November 7:  The Kitchen

November 21:  Our offices, garages, how to help other family members declutter (kids, parents)   [Will be held in the School Cafeteria due to

TBA:  Screen time, developing habits of maintaining our declutter lives.

Throughout the course we will try experiments withdecluttering to take it further (including other aspects of our lives beyond our physical environment). To take it a step further (for those who desire), we will offer "challenges".  We will also reflect on the 12 steps on the ladder of Humility (St. Benedict) as we come to accept a more simple life-style.

Each session will include a theological/scriptural basis for living simply, practical information and "how-tos", small group sharing and the "tasks" to do.

Special private group access on My Parish App to help keep motivated and to share our experiences.

At the last five sessions, a St. Vincent De Paul truc Thrift Store truck will accept
material donations from 6pm to 7pm (10/10, 10/24, 11/7 and 11/21).

On the last session (6pm to 7pm), a shredding truck will be here as we clean our home offices!
