St. Mary Magdalen Church in Altamonte Springs presents CommunityFest 2009 October
23, 24 and 25, 2009. Central Florida’s longest-running
and largest church festival, now celebrating its 43rd year. CommunityFest features
non-stop live entertainment, a 20-booth international
food court, midway rides and games for all ages and a spectacular Super Raffle with
prizes worth $15,000. The action gets underway Friday, October
23rd at 3:00pm with
the Opening Ceremonies and continues until 11:00pm. Saturday hours are from noon
until 11:00pm and Sunday the festival is open from 11:00am until 6:00pm ending with
the Super Raffle at 6:00pm.
Proceeds from CommunityFest directly benefit more than 100 ministries at St. Mary
Magdalen Parish, including the nationally-recognized Adult Day Care Center, Habitat
for Humanity and numerous other worthy causes.
Free and Convenient Off-site Parking
CommunityFest’s free Park-N-Ride Shuttle Service will run continuously from the
Embarq Communications Parking Lot which is one block south of SR 436 on Orienta
Avenue and from the Altamonte Commons Office Complex at 249/251 Maitland Avenue.
