If You’re a Tiger and You Know It

(Tune: “If You’re Happy and You Know IT”)

Boys extend and curl their fingers like claws.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, show your claws,
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, show your claws,
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, then your claws will surely show it.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, show your claws,

Boys stand up tall and straight.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, show you’re strong.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, show you’re strong.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, then your strength will surely show it.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, show you’re strong.

Boys make a loud roaring sound.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, give a roar.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, give a roar.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, then your roar will surely show it.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, give a roar.

Boys perform motions for each line.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, show all three.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, show all three.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, and you really want to show it.
If you’re a Tiger and you know it, show all three.

Light Of Christ Emblem

Its purpose is to have the Scout develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as a real person and his friend. This type of relationship will help him to better understand and appreciate Christ's love and concern for him. Through the active assistance and participation of the Scout's parent in this program, it is hoped that he will come to see Jesus as a real person and his friend.

The objectives of the program are as follows:
  1. To support the role of the parents as the primary catechists of their children.
  2. To have the Scout identify Jesus as a real person and as his friend.
  3. To foster early family religious involvement.
  4. To be a stepping stone toward Parvuli Dei and the other religious emblems, when the parents are involved.
  5. To serve as a catalyst to draw the parents into a deeper involvement with the church, through the child.
