The Ministry To The Sick NEEDS you.
The purpose of this ministry is to visit the two
hospitals, Florida Altamonte and Florida South, several
Nursing homes, and those who are homebound at a time in
their lives when they need a prayer, a visit and perhaps the
comfort and healing power of Christ in Holy Communion. As a
volunteer in this ministry you shadow(visit with another
minister) to determine if this is the ministry for you,
Diocesan training and ongoing education. Requirement
Parishioner, a practicing Catholic, Minister of Holy
Communion and FDLE & FBI fingerprinted, This ministry gives
you many joys and fulfillment in helping others.
The Parish Anointing of the Sick
will be held on the Week-end of Sept 15 -16 within all the
Saturday and Sunday Masses. Signup will be before all Masses
on the porch of the Church.
The Connection Cafe on this week-end will
feature the Ministry To the Sick volunteers, if you have any
questions about the ministry please be sure to speak with
them.

offers this program for the Fall 2007
"As Families Grow Older" a six week series of workshops
designed to help families anticipate and plan for the loving
care that will be needed as we all grow older. Special
presenters at each session to answer questions. Beginning
Thursday Sept 20th through October 25th, 2007. From 7:00 to
