Marilyn Fair Facilitator Catholic Active Parenting Teens

Marilyn Fair and her husband, William (Gypsy), have been members of St.Mary Magdalen Parish for ten years. Marilyn, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a private practice in Lake Mary, has over 21 years of experience in the areas of mood disorders and addictions. Gypsy has worked for over thirty years in the aviation field. They have three grown children: Jennie Reeves who lives with her family in Tallahassee; Sean John and his family, who are stationed with the Air Force in Germany; and Shelley Johnson, who is working and going to school in the field of hotel management, in South Florida.

For over ten years. Marilyn has been a lector for Mass and has volunteered at the Fall Festival and Habitat for Humanity. This past year, she has shared her counseling gifts with us in our parish. She was a facilitator for parents who were taking the Catholic Active Parenting Course for Teens. She had a terrific group of parents who were willing to share their joys and struggles with each other as they learned together the principles of effectively parenting teens. Marilyn encourages all parents to come and join her in September. You will have a wonderful learning experience.!!
