Anne & George Eichner Coordinators Shared Journeys Couples Married 20 Years

Hello! We are Anne and George Eichner, the Coordinatord of a small marrieds group - SHARED JOURNEYS - for couples married over 20 years. Our group, whom we call the Over the Hill Gang, have been meeting for at least ten years and we never have been at a loss for words. We are at the present time, seven couples who meet once a month at the home of one of our group. It has been a life giving experience for all of us.

George and I came to Florida from New York City in 1966. We have been married 43 years and have 5 married children and 13 grand children. St Mary Magdalen has been our parish since we arrived and we have found its Community and its leaders a source of love and growth in our lives.We have been involved in all kinds of ministry since we came here. We have been active in Cursillo, Youth Group, Renew, Parish Retreats. We still minister as Sacristans for the 7 a.m. weekday Mass and as a FOCCUS COUPLE for those preparing for marriage.

Besides our family to whom we are very close, our small marrieds group have become like family to us. We share our joys and our sorrows and continue to help each other grow in our love for our spouse and the Lord.
