Hello
everyone!! I am Dianne Couch and I am the new Coordinator of Sunday Child Care
at the 10 AM Mass. Believe it or not, I was born and bred in Central Florida.
I attended St. Andrews Elementary School and graduated from Bishop Moore High
School in 1983. From 1989 to 1994, I was active in the Young Adult Ministry of
St. Mary Magdalen. I met my husband John Couch in 1994 and we were married at Annunciation Church in 1996. We are blessed with two wonderful children Katie, 7 years old, and Will 2. We as a family have been full time members of St. Mary Magdalen since 2000. We love this parish and feel so much at home here. I joined SunDay Child Care last year. Since this is a parent co op program, I volunteered on a monthly basis. Not only did I feel blessed to celebrate Sunday Mass with my husband and my daughter without the distractions of our younger son, but I really enjoyed participating in Sunday Child Care and meeting the families involved in this ministry. When the past Co Chair Lorrie Anderson asked me to accept the call to serve as this year's Coordinator, I was asking myself where I would share my gifts with the Parish Time and Talent campaign. I truly believe that this ministry offers a tremendous service to our parish families and that the participation of new members fosters the growth of any new ministry. Consequently, I willingly answered the call to serve. So listen up---any of you parents who attend the 10am Mass. Why don't you come on over to the Child Care Center and take a look at us. The atmosphere here is wonderful and very child friendly. We parents offer loving, nurturing, fun, and very attentive and safe Child Care for your children. Moreover, we promise not to overburden you with your time to participate. With enough parents involved, we will call on you not more than every 4-6 weeks to help out. Having the SunDay Care ministry available to all of us at St. Mary Magdalen is such a blessing. Not only will you come to value your celebration time at Sunday Mass but your children will meet and enjoy children their age from our own very parish. They will soon come to understand that they are warmly wanted and welcomed here at St. Mary Magdalen and they truly belong to a Family of Families. We look forward to meeting and greeting each one of you. See you soon!!!
