Terry Brown

Separated & Divorced Ministry
Coordinator
New Beginnings &
Orlando Catholic Singles

Originally from Lafayette Indiana, Terry Brown grew up in Orlando, attended St. Charles Grammar School, and graduated from Bishop Moore High School. After her divorce in 1988, she joined St. Mary Magdalen. She went through the program for those who are separated or divorced called New Beginnings and found it so life-giving that she has been involved with this ministry ever since. It is her way to give back hope to those who are now hurting. But she has not stopped there.

Terry can be seen greeting people at the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass as part of the Hospitality Ministry. She also is a Eucharistic Minister and a Minister to the Sick. Most recently, she worked the Community Fest and is part of Fr. Tom Smith's Dream Builders Traveling Show which raises money for the Dominican Republic.

Terry states:"There is a place or ministry for everyone at St Mary Magdalen. I have always felt welcomed in all that I have tried to do here. I encourage all parishioners to get involved for the rewards are priceless." Terry is also the Coordinator for Orlando Catholic Singles--a group that outreaches to all the Singles in the Diocese of Orlando. If you are looking for a ministry in which to serve, Terry invites you to walk with her as she shares her gifts where ever they are needed. .
