Religious Education for Children and Youth
The aim of catechesis is to put people not only in touch,
but also in
communion and intimacy, with Jesus Christ. (Catechesis in Our Time 5)
As disciples of Christ we are called to continuous
conversion. We grow in a deeper knowledge, understanding, and
relationship with our Lord throughout the
various stages of our lives. The faith formation of children is only the
beginning
of this journey. The goal of St. Mary Magdalen’s Religious Education program is to
collaborate
with the parents and guardians, whom the Church recognizes as the
primary
and principle educators of their children.
